FUCKING FEEL SOMETHING

A surreal series promoting ownership of one's sexual agency

FUCKING FEEL SOMETHING

Sex is quite literally one of the most normal activities ever. We all exist because of sex. And Black people deserve to see themselves in it without feeling degraded.

For centuries. Western society has violated Black bodies while our people have been robbed of sexual agency. To this day, the degradation is perpetuated via white-owned media content.
In adulthood, as in adolescence, people depend on erotic content to shape much of their sexual development. From technique to bed-talk, we see things on screen and reenact them in private. Unfortunately, it's not easy to glean a realistic sense of what sex can or should be from the ideas perpetuated in mainstream porn. Especially not for us. Black people deserve to see themselves as entire beings and that is inclusive of how we experience sex. We shouldn't be embarrassed or disgusted when we see ourselves in erotic content. So whether it's solo, couple, or poly, straight or queer, cis, trans, or nonbinary, I want to depict whole experiences from whole people.
